Ideal candidate should possess the following:

$21.50 hourly

Seeking Security Operation Center Officers for exciting Integrated Global Security Operations Center / Intelligence Analysis Role in a corporate global security team.

This Coordinator is responsible for balancing the role of incident manager and intelligence analyst - receiving information from a variety of sources, assessing the importance of the data, and disseminating it accurately and professionally under normal and emergency response conditions. As Coordinator, you are analytic, inquisitive, and curious about the security of our company, our sites, and our people. You ask questions, seek answers and love data. You will be a key contributor to the security operations team in the event of a crisis situation that would threaten the safe and secure business operations. Job Description:

  • Under the supervision of the Security Account Manager, the Coordinator coordinates with all security staff assigned to a designated shift at the client’s facilities.

  • Monitors security systems (i.e. access, intrusion, CCTV, police scanners, weather, Social media, etc.) and provides guidance on appropriate response according to established procedures.

  • Fulfills reporting requirements to Security Management, Supervisors, Client and/or Client Personnel. Includes, but not limited to; leadership community, Client’s intranet posts, Social media monitoring, corporate aircraft flight tracking, risk analysis analysis and severe weather alerting.

  • As part of our Crisis Management Team, coordinates responses to security emergencies, problems, issues, and requests for assistance according to security policies and incident command system (ICS) procedures.

  • Receives and directs (limited) incoming internal and external telephone calls usually in support of local emergency telephone support and response.

  • Provides verbal and electronically written notifications that support client’s key functions (i.e. Facilities, Security, Employee Relations Investigations, Crisis Management Team, support to Law Enforcement, etc.)

  • Assists with the delivery of security system training as it relates to the Global Security Operations Center and local Security officer training.

  • Documents reported maintenance issues and alarm activity, analyze equipment failures, and initiates corrective action. Processes service calls to Security System Integrators and/or Facilities work request system for maintenance repairs. Directly supports investigations through their work and analysis.

  • Performs related duties as required requested by client.This description is not intended to be a complete statement of the position but rather to act as a guide to the general work to be performed.

Qualifications:

  1. Strong written and oral communications skills.

  2. Minimum of 2 years of security related experience as well as possessing a good understanding and working knowledge of a Security Operations Center. Candidate should be familiar with security and life safety systems (i.e. access and intrusion control, CCTV, phones, fire systems, etc.)

  3. Good organizational skills and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively and across diverse cultures.

  4. Ability to maintain composure in dealing with law enforcement authorities, executives, clients, staff and the public, occasionally under conditions of urgency and high pressure situations.

  5. Seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly in order to communicate with employees and clients, observe and report incidents, and direct others.

  6. Intellectual curiosity about problem solving and improving our operations is celebrated and encouraged!

  7. Basic computer usage and knowledge of MSWord, PowerPoint, Email and how to conduct research on the Internet.

  8. Ability to respect and handle sensitive and confidential information and adapt to changes in the external environment and organization.

  9. Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

  10. Previous experience in intelligence analysis, Military, Emergency Response; or working in an operation center preferred.

  11. 40 hours contractually required paid on-the-job training
