Security Systems Admin Officer
Pay rate: $20.50
Allied Universal has security jobs and are seeking to fill the position of Security Systems Officer . As a Professional Security Officer for Allied Universal you will be responsible for the security and safety of our client’s property and personnel. As the Allied Universal Security Officer, you will know all site-specific policies and procedures, and implement emergency response activities as appropriate, while providing superior customer service.
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience
Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Driving Positions: must possess a valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), a minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle required.
Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
Perform daily systems monitoring as designated by the Security Systems Manager
Complete assigned projects, tasks and essential job functions in a timely manner.
Prevent and resolve security systems issues by monitoring to identify any possible problems
Create, modify, and delete users per request in accordance to policies
This position is an hourly positionThis position has a working schedule that provides overnight security systems coverage and response. Shift hours will be overnight full-time. JOB INTRODUCTION: In this position, you will assist the Security Systems Manager with the upkeep and maintenance of client corporate security infrastructure and related applications (computers, printers, cameras, access control systems, servers, etc.) on a daily basis. This includes responsibility for security systems operations including all access control systems, cameras, and after hours response. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES: REPORTING:
Reports to and takes direction from the Security Systems Manager.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: Education, Training & Experience
At least 3+ years of experience in a security or emergency management related field is required.
At least 2+ years of experience in systems administration.
Must have experience working with/in security operations centers (SOC) or a GSOC, NOC, etc.
Direct experience with access control/command center software:
Experience working with and sending communications to all level of an organization is strongly preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Attributes
Superior communication skills. Effectively and concisely communicated both verbally and in writing. Effective briefer when interacting with internal and external audiences.
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
Prior experience within the technology field, corporate security and/or law enforcement.
Must have computer skills, including knowledge of applications involving word processing, desktop publishing, databases and presentations. Proficiency in MS Office applications (MS Office 365, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Publisher, Access, Picture Manager, SharePoint, etc.)
Demonstrate an ability to work independently with minimal guidance and supervision.
Demonstrate initiative-driving, creative/strategic-thinking, problem-solving, project-managing and relationship-building skills.
