Allied Universal Administrative Position Parking Coordinator in Richmond, Virginia

Allied Universal in partnership with our client has is seeking to fill the position of Parking Coordinator Administrative Position in Downtown Richmond Virginia.

Parking Coordinator Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Skill in collecting and analyzing data and preparing reports.

• Proficiency in financial computer programs, MS Word, Excel.

• Advanced knowledge and skill creating and maintaining excel spreadsheets.

• Ability to prepare and analyze financial information and prepare accurate status reports.

• Knowledge of business principles and procedures.

• Knowledge of accounting practices and procedures. Ability to solve problems and make decisions.

• Ability to read, interpret and apply state laws, policies, procedures.

• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.

Parking Coordinator duties:

• Administrative duties that include, but are not limited to answering telephones and greet customers in a professional manner.

• Assist the Central Office Parking Manager with the Client Parking Program. This includes, but is not limited to:

o Completing Parking Program Forms (Building Access Applications, Parking Request Forms, Payroll Pre-Tax Form, and Parking Request forms).

o Assists with the coordination of parking assignments and transfers.

o Assist with the maintenance and data entry into the Parking Management System.

o Verify Client employee payroll deductions in conjunction with enrollment in the parking program.

o Billing management, including the preparation of invoices for contractors

o Collect and track contractor’s payments to the parking program

o Resolve parking violations in accordance with Client policy.

o Facilitate the enrollment and termination of employee accounts within the parking program.

• Providing clerical support as needed and per individual request.

• Prioritize and assign visitor parking spaces for Central Office employees, District employees, contractors, and visitors

• Provide a monthly report to the Client Central Office Parking Program Manager by the 15th of each month to include:

o Number of unassigned spaces

o Number of staff on the parking waiting list (employees and contractors)

o Number of staff on medical parking (long-term and transitory)

o Delinquent staff payment

o Reconciliation confirming that information on the invoice, employee payroll deductions, ACCESS database and any other parking tracking system all correspond. Any discrepancies should be addressed with a corrective action plan.

o Develop and implement an Accounts Receivable reconciliation process for contractor parking fees to provide an accounting record of fees that are due to the Agency and reconcile them with payments received.

• Adherence and enforcement of all Parking Program Policies and Procedures (ASD CO Parking Memorandum, and DGS Policies and Procedures for the Use of Parking Facilities))

• Other parking related tasks or duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Be at least 18 years of age with high school diploma

  • Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner

  • As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws

  • Display exceptional customer service and communication skills

  • Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites

  • Able to:

  • Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat

  • Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds

  • Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift

  • Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
