Allied Universal is seeking to hire a Full Time Security Recycling Manager at a Tech site in Cupertino, CA.
Salary: $125,000.00 / yr
Must have security program management experience

Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Recycling Manager. The Security Recycling Manager will ensure the integrity, safety, and security of recycling facilities worldwide by implementing and managing effective physical security programs. Reporting to the Mass Production Security Program Manager and collaborating with internal teams and third-party vendors, the Security Recycling Manager is responsible for developing and enforcing policies, procedures, and standards to mitigate security risks and prevent materials leakage. The SRM will lead global security audits, provide strategic and operational support, and address site-specific concerns, fostering partnerships across various departments to drive compliance and continuous improvement in security operations. The Security Recycling Manager may expect to travel domestically and internationally up to 40% of their time.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain and enhance security measures at recycling facilities worldwide
Provide strategic support and operations of the physical security programs, develop policies, procedures, standards and manage their implementation throughout the network of recycling sites
Evaluate security posture and provide guidance and recommendations around site-specific security concerns
Oversee the operational implementation of corporate security initiatives and security operations at recycling sites
Lead a global security audit program to ensure compliance and identify improvement opportunities
Build and sustain collaborative partnerships with Operations, Environment and Supply Chain Innovation, Global Security, and other cross-functional partners
Identify and inform management of compliance issues, security risks, and improvement opportunities related to materials leakage
Collaborate with internal teams as well as third party vendors to ensure project are completed timely and meet requirements of statement of work
QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):
Must possess one of the following:
Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. Engineering, Project Management, or a related field of study
Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice. Engineering, Project Management, or a related field of study with a minimum of twelve (12) years of security program management experience
High school diploma with a minimum of fourteen (14) years of security program management experience
Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in security program management, demonstrating a track record of successful program leadership and implementation
Proven experience in developing scalable, efficient, and coordinated security and quality-oriented programs
Experience conducting audits and investigations related to security incidents
Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, recycling, and supply chain innovation
Expertise in physical security consulting, including security design, implementation, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies
Strong understanding of corporate security procedures and protocols
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and recommendations to diverse audiences
Demonstrated strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex security challenges
Ability to assess and mitigate risks effectively, ensuring a secure and safe operational environment
Strong organizational and strategic thinking skills, with a focus on continuous improvement
Proven capability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Flexibility to participate in global work processes, including accommodating different time zones for conference calls
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to build and maintain successful relationships across all organizational levels
Proven ability to manage teams with diverse skills and security disciplines
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):
Master’s degree in Criminal Justice. Engineering, Project Management, or a related field of study
Experience working at a recycling facility or in a role related to recycling operations, such as Operations Manager, Security Manager, or Site Supervisor
Global auditing experience in a recycling facility
