Risk Advisory and Consulting Services, an Allied Universal® Company, is hiring a Financial Transaction Specialist. The Financial Transaction Specialist maintains employee profiles and timely processing of timesheets and adjustment in Workforce Go. This position also ensures incoming cash is deposited, recorded, and reported timely and accurately.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain employment related data in WinTeam system such as: promotions, transfers, demotions, wage rate changes, job number change, FT/PT status, union status, vacation plans, form W4s, direct deposit, and changes in reporting structure/supervisors. Enter timesheets in Workforce Go and payroll adjustments in Courier and Ad-X as necessary

  • Field payroll related inquiries from Security Professionals, resolve or escalate as necessary

  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of payroll data to the corporate team

  • Perform weekly and monthly reconciliation between Workforce Go and WinTeam and distribute reports to the finance team

  • Process customer payments via credit-card payments and deposit checks

  • Process Inter-company cash transfers between Risk Advisory and Consulting Services (RACS) and other entities

  • Assist in Accounts Receivable Aging reporting including follow-ups, research unapplied cash and transfers, etc.

  • Assist in monthly close as requested by the Accounting team

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school Diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED)

  • Previous payroll experience, preferably in a service industry

  • Experience in a dynamic, high-growth environment with a proven ability to sustain a high level of output and productivity

  • Knowledge of multi-state payroll compliance to ensure we are satisfying each state’s unique and specific legal guidelines

  • Working knowledge of basic accounting concepts

  • Proficient and fully functional in all Microsoft Office applications and able to effectively utilize all available office management technology

  • Ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines.

  • Professional, articulate, and able to use good independent judgment and discretion

  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field

  • Security Industry experience

  • SAPbyDesign or SAP experience
