Allied Universal is looking to hire an Account Manager. The Account Manager is accountable for day-to-day operations of an assigned account, including hiring, training, disciplining and terminating staff. Build, improve and maintain relationships with clients and employees: develop & retain staff; coordinate needed support services and solve problems to effectively run the account. Meet or exceed financial & operational goals; provide quality customer service. Maintains or oversees maintenance of weekly operating schedules and completion of payroll for assigned security personnel. Provides after-hour emergency response as required.

* Specific Job Description

Leads, manages, and directs installation security activities. Serves on boards and planning groups involving security, force protection, police services, and antiterrorism. Monitors and directs programs to ensure cost effective mix of security personnel and equipment. Develops plans, policies, procedures, and detailed Post/Patrol instructions to implement security programs. Plans, organizes, and schedules security activities, such as random anti-terrorism measures. Provides oversight, guidance, and assistance to senior executives regarding the application of physical and industrial security programs. Supervises the training of security officers. Provides on-scene supervision for security officers. Inspects and evaluates security effectiveness. Analyzes reports and statistics.

*Basic Qualifications

Knowledge of and work experience in DoD installation or large industrial plant security operations, vulnerability analysis, mission assurance assessment process and mitigation development; police services (including law enforcement, traffic management, confrontation management, investigations, working dog utilization); programming and budgeting procedures; operational capabilities, limitations, security equipment capabilities; firearms training and maintenance; aircraft security operations and employment and operator maintenance of an assigned weapons.

Must be a US Citizen or legally authorized to work in US as a permanent resident. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

*Desired Skills

Prefer 15 years of security and managerial experience. Knowledge of weaponry, laws, directives, programs, policies, and procedures governing Security activities; integrated installation security planning; resource security; anti-terrorism and DoD FPCON actions; law enforcement and investigations; explosive/drug working dog function; armament and equipment; training; and visitor access control. Ability to assess, define and conduct training of subordinate personnel. Proven ability to lead, manage, and motivate personnel in large organizations and change management environments. Experience working under a collective bargaining agreement. Excellent oral and writing skills. Comfortable with presenting to large and diverse audiences. Proficient with MS Office suite.

Typical Minimums

Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
